Посылка пришла вовремя, но я не получил сообщения с локального почтового отделения - они чуть было не отправили обратно, хорошо что проверил и успел забрать.)) Подключил к блютуз на Линукс, все работает из коробки без танцев с бубном и призыва ктулху. А сам джойстик прикольный, нужно привыкнуть к необычному управлению.

Team controller does not play well with other controllers
It plays well with other steam controllers but not well with let's say Sony PS4 DualShock Wireless Controller and every so often "steals" its place (deletes other controllers) let's say we want to play PES 2016 ... it is either 2 Steam Controllers or either ONE of the two mentioned ... because STEAM DOES NOT OFFER WINDOWS DRIVERS FOR THIS CONTROLLER and STEAM APP does not allow configuring correctly other controllers for non steam games (and sometimes like in this case Steam Controller sometimes out of the blue just overrides even those settings) But on the + side ... it's great for FPS and every single game I have tested it on (except games where You use mostly buttons, there I recommend switching them to right "owl eye"It plays well with other steam controllers but not well with let's say Sony PS4 DualShock Wireless Controller and every so often "steals" its place (deletes other controllers) let's say we want to play PES 2016 ... it is either 2 Steam Controllers or either ONE of the two mentioned ... because STEAM DOES NOT OFFER WINDOWS DRIVERS FOR THIS CONTROLLER and STEAM APP does not allow configuring correctly other controllers for non steam games (and sometimes like in this case Steam Controller sometimes out of the blue just overrides even those settings) But on the + side ... it's great for FPS and every single game I have tested it on (except games where You use mostly buttons, there I recommend switching them to right "owl eye"

Nice and comfortable
If you still can't decide on TO BUY OR NOT TO BUY, stop, just buy it. There's no way you won't like it. I'm a playstation fan and i was also a little skeptic. Wait till you get the feel of it in your hands. It's really light and the design is by far the most comfortable i've ever had. Also, you don't get sore fingers from it, wich you'd think is weird after playing a few hours. It also comes with the USB cable , so , if you run out of batteries , np , just plug the thing and continue your game. Works well when used in the right context
I'm a controller collector who has a massive and diverse collection of regular and sometimes downright weird controllers, like the Sidewinder Dual Strike, the ASCII Sphere, the Micomsoft XE-1AP, just to name a few. Retro and new. The Steam controller gets a bad rap for being convoluted and complicated to set up, or not working well with all games. Well, like a lot of the aforementioned controllers, it works well for what is designed to, not to replace everything. For example, the XE-1AP works well and it's excellent for playing After Burner or such shooters, but you won't be able to play Sonic comfortably, or at all with it. The same goes for the Steam controller. Some guy makes a video review of the controller after playing with it for five minutes and gives it 1 star. You need to invest ... Then you will enjoy the Steam controller. Personally, for first-person shooters, I enjoy using the Hori TAC Pro G1, the one that a half PS4 controller and half mouse. I watched some reviews of it and people didn't even know what some of the buttons did, for example, adjust mouse sensitivity, which was the cause of some of the few complaints. So yeah, watch some tutorials and be experimental. I'm pretty sure that Valve could have made a standard controller if they wanted to. What's the point? Plenty of those around. So I appreciate them taking risks to bring forth some exciting innovations. I used Dead Island to test it because I'm familiar with the game's mechanics and controls very well. I just did a quick setup on Steam and it worked really well. The touchpad is great and worked very well, as did everything else. I also like how they went with regular batteries and not internal, as those are a lot easier to replace than internal ones. All in all, a great controller for its purposes and I had no complaints about it. I don't think it feels cheap, it feels light, that's all. In short, if you want a controller that is a jack of all trades to use on everything, stick with Xbox One, PS4 and the like. If you want the precision of a mouse but the versatility of a thumbstick, I recommend the Hori TAC G1. If you want something that is in between those two without resorting to any mouse setup, the Steam controller might be the one for you. Get it with the dongle to avoid any setup nightmares, if you can.

It's going to take some getting used to
It's a nice controller....but, it's going to take a while to get used to, which is a me problem rather than the controller, well designed the shape rests in my hands very well, the right directional stick is now a touchpad, as well as the dpad which I think works well for the short time I've used it, triggers are responsive and good, and the directional stick on the left feels natural like an xbox pad, the only thing I didn't like was the buttons, more precise where they are, maybe it'll change the more I use it.It's a nice controller....but, it's going to take a while to get used to, which is a me problem rather than the controller, well designed the shape rests in my hands very well, the right directional stick is now a touchpad, as well as the dpad which I think works well for the short time I've used it, triggers are responsive and good, and the directional stick on the left feels natural like an xbox pad, the only thing I didn't like was the buttons, more precise where they are, maybe it'll change the more I use it.

Steam Controller
I had the Steam Link but didn't have much success trying to use it with i5 750 and bt home hub so I wasn't sure what to expect. By now I had upgraded my pc and now use a sky hub so maybe that helped, but what a difference the Steam Controller has made. Why didn't I get one ages ago ??? It's so easy to use once you persevere and get to understand how to set it up. There is sooo much it can do that it would take ages to try to explain but I cannot recommend it enough, it can be set up to do pretty much anything you want but if you're like me you just try different peoples setups by pressing the steam button and going to the menus and picking a new setup to try until you get one that you like.
