Hello . Does not work on all Floyd rose terms !on the mid 80s Floyd’s it does not work .the later ones it does work . Base and saddle adjustment are different on the early years . It will not fine tune in on early ones .

A must have
The D-Tuna is a definite must have if you do any drop d tuning with a Floyd Rose bridge. Make sure that you have it stabilized if you are going to use one though. Mine is a full floater and I am using it with a Hipshot Trem-setter that is tightened up almost as tight as it will go. It is best used with either a surface mount or a Tremel-no system. I would not recommend using it on a floater without some sort of heavy stabilization. Once it is set it does exactly what it is advertised to do and drops your top string from E to D in less than a second. I absolutely love it. P.S. Since mine is a full floater I needed to route the body under the D-Tuna in order to be able to pull up as it is pretty bulky and sticks out farther than the other locking bolts.The D-Tuna is a definite must have if you do any drop d tuning with a Floyd Rose bridge. Spend more time playing!
It’s great to have if you don’t have an arsenal of guitars to switch between tunings. Pull the trigger, a couple of twists on the fine tuners and you’re good! I don’t know how well it works on other locking tremolos? But it fits and works great on my Floyd Rose knock-off. I do plan to buy another for when I decide to build my next guitar with a locking system. Enjoy!

Perfect Drop-D in an instant
I just purchased a second one of these for a new-to-me '88 Ibanez Saber. Have had one on my '87 Saber for years. Works flawlessly once it's set up properly. Highly dependable, and while the other guys are fiddling with tuning down and making sure they're in perfect tune with a tuner, I've got time to take a couple sips of my drink!

Very cool product, easy to install. Didn't realize I needed to block my trem but had a 3/4" block of wood that fit perfect to prevent my Floyd from pulling up. It stays in tune when switching back and forth from drop d and dives still work.

Works As Advertised
Pretty clever. The spring hid in the packaging, so I didn't initially install it. Works either way, but it rattles in D if it's absent. My bridge plate is angled towards the endpin, so the extra length of the D-Tuner means I have less tuning adjustment range, as the space between the end of the unit and the face of the guitar is now the limiting factor. I could fix it by shimming the bridge level, or shimming the neck so that the bridge was flat when the action was readjusted. Hasn't troubled me enough to bother so far.Pretty clever.
