This Sony digital camcorder lets you capture life's precious moments with quality and ease. It offers Digital 8 Video Recording with up to 500 lines of horizontal resolution (recorded through video inputs) and has ability to playback virtually any 8mm or Hi8 Tape. This camera is also capable of recording 12 Bit or 16 Bit PCM digital stereo audio. New 20x Optical/360x Digital Zoom brings the action up close from far away. 3" Color Swivelscreen LCD uses active matrix technology to provide clear, accurate colors even in bright sunlight. Advanced Color Viewfinder (113k Pixels) provides a clear, full color view of video subjects.The Sony Handycam DCR-TRV310 has the stamina to record up to 10 hours on one optional battery (NP-F950). Infolithium battery with Accupower system continuously displays the amount of power remaining in minutes, in the viewfinder or LCD. With Sony's NightShot system you can capture video even when shooting in total darkness (0 lux) up to 10 feet away using the built-in infrared system. By applying slow shutter in the NightShot mode picture quality is increased. Laserlink Wireless Connection between your camera and TVs, up to 16 feet away can be made possible with the optional IFT-R10A Receiver that turns most Sony TV's on and selects the correct input automatically. SteadyShot uses motion sensors that compensate for camera "shake" without compromising picture quality. Intelligent Accessory Shoe communicates signals such as Power On/Off, Control L, and Audio between the camcorder and accessories to simplify usage. New analog recording capability allows you to record from an analog source and converts to digital video through A/V inputs. Using Sony's unique Adaptive Frame Interpolation, for better image quality, you can store hundreds individual still images. This camera is also equipped with a bundle of digital effects (Still, Flash Motion, Luminance Key, Slow Shutter, Trail, Old Movie), 8 Picture Effects (Slim, Stretch, Mosaic, Solarization, Monotone, Sepia, Neg. Art, Pastel) and 7 program modes that provide a quick and easy setting for the proper exposure, shutter, and depth of field setting for a variety of environments. Sony DCR-TRV315 Digital 8 HI8 Camcorder VCR player
This Sony Camcorder is in excellent condition. I am so happy with the performance. I am transferring 24 year old 8mm tapes to DVD. 50 tapes so far without any problems. It plays all formats of 8mm tapes from the oldest to digital HI8. Many features and large LCD screen and view finder in color.
