Now I'm no professional photographer, or video guy but I do love that this device made my laptop and computer screens look they way it's supposed to.
I never realized how much blue my screens were putting out making my photos and videos not look right and making me think it was me making the error with my cameras white balance settings not realizing it was my screens that were out of calibration of calibration whole time. So I've actually been making my videos and photos look more warm than was intended before I calibrated my screen using this device.
So if you're editing photos or videos or shopping for stuff and not getting the same shade of color clothing or fabric you saw on your computer screen when you ordered it then you might need this to calibrate your screen to give you the right colors on your screen.
Will not work with Mac osx versions later than 10.6.3 leopard. Works fine on windows 10 though. The process is easy and it does improve the colors of photos and helps with editing. I'm a hobbiest photographer so I'm not willing to pay 3-400 dollars for one, but this one helps.
I couldn't get it to work on Windows 10, until I discovered Displaycal.net. It might a older unit but for it has been a very good unit. For the price it works.
