Fun toy
I bought this for my 10 year old son for Christmas, and he loves it. It didn't take him too long to get the hang of controlling it so he was able to impress all his relatives at Christmas dinner. The cage around the propellers is what makes it so durable - it takes a lot of bashing walls etc, and that is one of the reasons I bought this particular drone. It was smaller than I expected and it is very lightweight so definitely only for indoors. The biggest downside is the length of time the battery on the actual drone lasts - only 6-7 minutes and then it takes over an hour to charge. It was not cheap (I paid £95), so if they could make a battery that lasts about 20 minutes that would be perfect, or supply it with a second battery.The battery on the controller lasts a lot longer - about an hour in all. The cost and the drone battery length are the only things that have made it lose a star. Otherwise it is fantastic fun and my son say's it's his favourite present.
