Garmin usb data card programmer cable
This unit is good value if you find yourself, as I did, with a very good Garmin 3000 or earlier unit and need to update it. A proprietary Garmin card is also needed to download updates from the internet. However, if you are networking your older unit (3000 or older?), as I was planning to do, you will find that the later model Garmin units will update all (most) units and peripherals on your network while being updated. I found a legacy download for my Garmin 5000 series unit (using a common SD card) that updated everything on my network including my Garmin 3000 unit. Keep in mind that the network updates applied this way are specific to your network. Updata kit for the older Garmin
I have two Garmin 3210 Chartplotters that work great but needed the latest update. The new ones just plug into a USP port. This kit allows you to download the data to your computer, then upload it into the chart plotter with the card.
