It's true what you've heard! So bad it's spectacular!
I have always been fascinated with films that develop a cult following - for whatever reason. In the case of "The Room," this movie is SOOOOO bad that it becomes great! (There are a lot of really bad, poorly crafted movies out there, but very few can transcend into greatness). First I watched the film out of curiosity based on all I had heard and read about it. Then I watched the James Franco film "The Disaster Artist." Then I read the book "The Disaster Artist" that the excellent and hilarious Franco film was based on - the making of the original "The Room." (I purchased all three of these items from Ebay), Watching "The Room" is not just watching a movie - it is an actual EXPERIENCE. Tommy Wiseau - it's producer (it supposedly cost $6 million to produce, but after you watch it, you have to wonder what on earth he spent all that money on - it certainly wasn't on sets and wardrobe!), writer, director and star is in a class by himself, a true original with lots of money, a dream, no talent whatsoever, no knowledge about what goes into making a movie, but a lot of guts and determination. If you like quirky, off-beat horrible films that attempt to be serious, but turn out to be hilariously funny, you've got to see "The Room." I also highly recommend both the film and the book "The Disaster Artist."

I've heard about this movie for years and it was well worth the wait-- I laughed out loud at the first line!... Good god it's terrible. I loved it!
Bummer there aren't more features on the DVD, but it works great! No complaints here.

One of the greatest films ever made.
This isn't just a good "bad" film, but one of the greatest films ever made. As suspenseful as Vertigo, as mysterious as Citizen Cane, and the love story is to die for. Tommy Wiseau has not made one of the greatest films of just the 21st century, but of any century. You'll laugh, cry, and laugh again. You are truly missing out on one of the most wondrous films you've not yet seen. Put it on repeat and let your eyes bask in the glory of this revelation. Why, why, why have you not bought this yet, Lisa?

The Room
I love it! Very cool movie! I live in Norway, and you can't get this movie here. I do not know why, but I have wanted this DVD forever. Finally I found it on eBay, and it arrived today. Yes! :D

Hilariously bad
I had seen this movie before, and just had to own it. It’s such a horrible train wreck and so hilarious at the same time. This Dvd was in perfectly new condition.

Yes, it really is as bad as they say it is
The Room is definitely worth a watch. it is undoubtedly the worst film I have seen in a long time. The worst ever? Maybe not but awfully awfully close. It lives up to its reputation. If you've seen the "Disaster Artist" and want to know what all the hubbub was about that caused this occur, this is it.

Hilariously Bad
This movie plays like a romantic drama but the bad acting, dialogue, and character development makes for a hilarious ride. However, I LOVE this movie. If you’re interested in movies so bad that they’re good, then this movie is an absolute must have

Sucks
Like watching a python swallow a giraffe. I died a slow agonizing death. The best worst movie ever made. I've watched it 4 times. It gets worse.

I love this movie! Had to have my own copy after seeing it in low res on youtube. One mans singular vision for what a film should be.
