Not worth it (extremely limited function)
I got this as a birthday gift for my brother and was really disappointed. While the system does work, details about it were omitted like a yellow hue on the top display and the bottom touch screen is broken (can still touch things on the screen but it's just a blank with random pixels shifting and you can't distinguish what you're pressing) which makes non-gba games completely unplayable. The speaker also quickly stopped working well with the bass in the audio sounding completely awful. The charger shipped with the DS also didn't work even when tried on various outlets. I guess $50 was too good to be true and you can find much higher quality products for not much more money and will be far more worth it. It's a semi-functional system you will likely have to repair yourself to be able to use it to its full capabilities. I hate leaving bad reviews but I was really disappointed by this one and figure I should try to warn others.

Fun and enjoyable.
Relived Memories! The Nintendo DS released November 21st 2004, still is at the top 2 selling consoles at 154.02 million units sold. Beating the Gameboy and Gameboy Color (at 118.69 million) by 35.33 million. Rocking a nice back light while having Dual Screens hence the name DS. It plays 2 types of games The DS Card and Gameboy Advance "Game Paks". Its well built and sturdy (for the most part) but it's not without flaws. One of them being the brittle plastic for the hinge, slightly dropping it will cause it to break. Its really chunky and semi-portable, but the back light is dim sort of like a front light. But other than that I would recommend it. Its easy to find and not a fortune to spend. Definitely get this if you can

Happy
The description was exactly what we received. There was some wear but minimal and expected on an old device. Good price. My son was happy to have his old broken one replaced. He keeps all of his old game systems so this was great! Arrived fast.

Excellent Quality for a nearly 20 year old console
Was shipped very fast and in great condition! Both screens are pristine and touch screen is very responsive. Very little scuff marks and the ones that are there are surface level and mostly on the corners of the outside. Arrived very clean and included a stylus and a charger. Battery dies a little quick when not plugged in but that's to be expected with an item of this age and is easily solved by playing with the charger on, so very appreciated that it was included. Buttons are all really responsive and feel good, no sticking at all. Both DS and GBA games play excellently with no issues. Overall super happy with this purchase!

Truth be told, I expected it to look more used and worn out. However, I am genuinely surprised that it looks nearly 99% new. There's a slight bit of scratch, but overall I am pleasantly surprised by the appearance. I wanted to buy it over the slim for personal reasons, so I'm a bit emotional here. I am extremely happy with this. I still have the Castlevania DS trilogy, Chrono Trigger and Dragon Quest IX in case those will be hard to find. Thank you for this system. I am grateful for this product and will cherish it.

Product was decent enough, but partially broken.
The product was shipped to me in decent enough condition. However, the ports to insert cartridges were faulty at best, and occasionally didn’t work. The top screen, in addition had lines of pixels missing. I was expecting more, but was thoroughly disappointed.

Great quality system!
This is a wonderful system! I grew up with a DS Lite as a kid, so I never really knew what the original DS was like. I recently bought this one as a gift for my brother, and wow! It's so neat! It's chunkier than a Lite, but feels good in my hands. The stylus is a lot smaller than I'm used to, but it still works very well. And the buttons are so clicky! I was pleasantly surprised at that. Overall it works great and has a nostalgic feel to it :^D Love it!

I would buy this again!
I was worried about ordering a refurbished product but it proved a good decision. The outside had a few minor scuffs showing it wasn’t brand new, but all the games have loaded perfectly, looked great and play flawlessly. Great product!

Great system on a budget
Minor wear and tear but other than that fantastic. Screen is in good condition, no scratches. Everything works perfectly, great battery life.
