Nad’s 314
This is my second NAD the first was a 3140. I have owned a Marantz in between. When played back to back the marantz sound is warm while the NAD has a brighter sound and where the Marantz is a bit heavier in tone the NAD is light and clean. Both are good top budget amps and as always the choice is subjective and depends on the other components in your system. I have technics cd, kef104AB speakers and an Acoustic research turntable. I have chosen to keep the NAD as it has more inputs and tone controls.
