Excellent Entry Level Bookshelf Speaker
I ordered a pair of these Dali Zensor 1 to compliment the Zensor Vokal Centre speaker I have just bought. My first test was hi rez music in stereo mode and the most notable thing was the lack of bass and was initially left disappointed. However it was my error, on my new Yamaha receiver you have to enable 'extra bass' to enable the sub woofer in stereo mode (Onkyo automatically enable the sub in stereo mode). The result was excellent and instantly transformed the sound beyond recognition. Next test was the movie Dunkirk and they performed surprisingly well as hone cinema front and right speaker, slightly better than the Cambridge Audio Minx 21 that they replaced. So far I'm pleased and to summarise they do what Dali advertise, they work well as hi fi speakers in a 2.1 setup or as part of a home cinema setup. However I would only consider these in small to moderate rooms. Love to know what Zensor 3 like, 5 or even 7 will sound like

Dali mini miracle.....almost!
I bought the Dali Zensor 1s for my son and, have been truly impressed with these 'tiddly' bookshelf units. The Zensor 1s have a top end and mid range that is sweet, transparent and so articulate but, the low end becomes wayward and ill defined as soon as the Zensors are pushed.....even a little bit! One has to accept that with all budget offerings the manufacturer has to make trade offs in order to satisfy the limits of the production cost. In this case it is the cabinet design and construction which, is basic at best and a poor match to the excellent Dali mid/bass unit which is employed to superb effect in many of Dali's up market designs ! All in all, the Zensor 1s are great value for money when compared to most of the competitors at this price point....if however solid, articulate and musical bass is your 'thing', look elsewhere.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

amazing sound quality
Have to say for their size these are amazing speakers, bought them to replace my Gale Silver monitors and am staggered by how much better they are. They give a very clear full range sound through a full range of volumes i.e. you don't have to crank them up to get them to work well but equally they sound great loud!!!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
