Producing a high-quality sound from a small enclosure, the Q Acoustics 2020i main speakers are stereo speakers that will make an ideal addition to or replacement for virtually any mini or midi sound system. These Q Acoustics 2020i speakers have a frequency response from 64 Hz to 22 kHz and a recommended power rating of 25 watts to 75 watts, meaning they will reproduce faithfully both speech and music. They have a sensitivity of 88 dB measured at 1 watt from 1 metre and these Q Acoustics 2020i main speakers have a nominal impedance of 6 Ohms. The Q Acoustics 2020i speakers are two-way reflex units with a high-quality 125-mm (4.9-inch) bass driver with a rubber surround coupled with a 25-mm (1-inch) soft domed, high-performance tweeter. The passive crossover frequency of these stereo speakers is set to 2.9 kHz. With external dimension of 264.5 mm (10.4 inches) high by 278 mm (10.9 inches) deep and 170 mm (6.7 inches) wide, the Q Acoustics 2020i speakers will fit on most bookshelves. Awesome Speakers
These speakers are so good that I've now bought two pairs of them so far. At their price point they are class leaders. They are not intended as 'loudspeakers' however I have a fairly substantially sized living room and powered by a decent amp they are more than powerful enough to fill the space (and probably annoy my neighbours greatly)! My other pair are in my bedroom in a far smaller and more intimate set up. Here, powered by a studio quality amp, the sound is really incredible and in many ways closer to the sound you'd expect from near-field monitor speakers. The clarity is superb, you hear the instruments and the space within which they were recorded fully. There is a decent dynamic range, and so when listening to classical music you can hear the various volume ranges and enjoy the space and silence left when instruments fade away. Selling for around £50 second hand, you have absolutely nothing to loose by picking yourself up a set of these brilliant speakers. Indeed, I'm considering buying a few more pairs over time to replace older and less capable surround speakers. Almost perfect.

Incredible speakers
