Best scope for the money
I compared it to my Leupold VariX-III 8.5-25x50 Long range target scope, Vortex Viper HST 6-24x50 scope. All three scope were set at 24x to 25X and sighting at target at 200 to 300 yards in day time and at night time. The Sightron was clearly sharper and brighter and a bit more detail (resolution) than the other two scopes at night time, the day time comparsion was not that noticeable. All three scopes are excellent in under $1000 price range. The Sightron with 56mm objective edges out just a little.Also the Sightron setting on top of my 24" bull barrel AR-15 just look way too cool.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Great Target Scope
This is my first 8-32X scope and I was concerned that the image at 32X would not be usable under less than ideal condition. I was pleasantly surprised, the clarity of this scope is superior to my Vortex Viper HS 4-16x50. The diopter focus and parallax setting are some what sensitive but very usable. In other reviews I've read that the parallax knob is too stiff and hard to turn, I guess Sightron has made some changes as this is not the case with this scope. Turret adjustments are very accurate and repeatable and clicks easily distinguishable and hold well. I chose the MOA 2 reticle which very good, the lines are fine but easy to see in daylight conditions but in low light they are challenging. I consider this a dedicated target scope and not a good choice for hunting due to the very high magnification and fine reticle but it could be used as a varmint scope under most conditions except for the last few minutes of daylight. Good value for money
I am a big fan of the Sightron S III series. I have 4 other S III’s all 10x50-60’s one with fine crosshairs 3 with MOA-2’s. Don’t tell anybody but I’ll take this scope over comparable Leupold, Nightforce, etc. To get close to a scope this good double the cost at least.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Best long range scope for the money.
I have four Sightron Slll scopes. Three 6-24x50 and this 8-32x56. Two are on F class target rifles and two on long range hunting rifles.
