Great sound for good money
I used this DAC with Odroid C2 and Volumio. Sound is great. It was easy to find info about connecting DAC to Odroid. Attention: for power connector look at symbols on board, not wires color. NB: This DAC doesn't have volume control functionality.

ES9023 board is very useful for everything
I have used this board as , (1) Raspberry Pi (hifiberry compatible DAC) (2) USB DAC with Amanero Combo384 compatible board This performs well considering its price( DAC + USB I/F upto 384Khz US$100) with bus power , it seems lowest cost of high resolution / high sampling DAC in the world. (3) External replacement DAC for HDMI audio extractor (7.1ch) and/or Behringer DCX2496 speaker management system DAC replacement. For these usage I have connected hust only I2S (BCLK/LRCLK/Data) signal only to reproduce high quality sound. And more I can isolate power supplies from these internal circuit / power supplies, supplying external +5V DC x 1 or x 2 (USB DAC case) it outperformed most of high priced DACs. I strongly recommend this DAC board for replacement of current lower cost DAC or DAC chip.
