The software along with the device is very simple to connect. You just need a quick look at the instructions (with pictures) and you are set to go!. It is very simple, no deviation if you can plug the wrong cables; no brainer at all. Once the software is installed, the step-by-step configuration it allows you to customize it according to your needs. If you a VHS or 3MM player, etc. Also, how you want it to store your files such as DVD image or MP2 format, etc. Ultimately, the best part is that you can recover your memories on a digital format that you can copy, share, upload, etc. For me the price is minor comparing to the memories you are rescuing.
