Not Sure...
I bought an iMac and after about 5 months the wireless keyboard would not connect properly. It would be on, but when I tried to type it would go crazy and just put a bunch of random letters and keep going even though I typed only a few. I would have to turn everything off and then back on for it to work every time. I had to drag the entire large computer into an Apple store and they tried to duplicate it but it didn't do it because it was just re-started and as I said every time I wanted to use the computer I had to shut down everything and restart it then it worked until it went to sleep again. I took a video of it happening and took it back to the store and they gave me a new keyboard. Still did not work. Took another video and back to Apple. They refused to do anything. SO, I paid a lot of money for a problem after less than 6 months and Apple refused to do anything. Needless to say, I now have a Dell! I'm sure Apple Care is ok if your computer completely stops working... but for issues like I had, not even the reg 1 yr warranty helped so AppleCare would have been useless. I am done with Apple.

BUY THIS WITH PRECAUTION! It cannot be used for a Used Imac. Only brand new from Apple.
YOU CAN ONLY USE ON A BRAND NEW Imac! Don't buy it unless you talk to Apple first.
