Reviewing a vintage product is difficult at best. You're taking a piece of old tech that is most likely no longer supported and parts are difficult to come by. This is never a value-centric purchase. I bought this to restore it to full functionality both electrically and appearance wise. This is my second PowerMac. The first one was pretty much trash that would cost way to much to restore. I may be able to use some of the parts though. This is labor of love project for someone with too much free time on their hands. (Guilty as charged) If you want a nicely restored working vintage computer, the odds are you won't find it here. If you just like the challenge of restoring an old piece of tech, welcome to the club.
I’m always afraid that “untested“ really means “tested and found not to work“. But after a little bit of TLC, I was able to get the computer up and running no problem. Thank you very much!
