So easy for canning!
I bought this for the canning feature, but enjoyed the other features for a good 5 months before I had time and energy to try canning. I have loved using slow cooker setting for making chicken noodle soup, and the pressure cooker setting for making bone broth. The touchscreen is really user-friendly, and when it beeps it is lound enough to hear it even if I'm in another room. I finally got around to canning and it is sooooo easy! You can literaly just press start and walk away. The downfall of the canner is that it only holds 4 pints, but with the can it and leave it convenience I could literally start a batch and then just leave for work every day. If I was canning for a large family I would just by multiples of this. If they came up with an 8 qt instant pot max with wifi I would definately try it.

I love this Max!
This is my 4th Instant Pot & by far I really like this one mainly cause of the canning feature! This one is a great addition to my little IP family.

Hazards of online buying
The pot is too small for much of anything unless you live alone or maybe for two people. I bought it to do canning and them when I get it, I find out it cannot do canning of anything with accuracy so it is worthless for that purpose. I will most likely just use it for making yogurt which makes it an outrageously expensive yogurt maker. Oh well live and learn. I won't make this mistake again.

great product but it needs better instruction booklet
my wife finally got around to trying it out and she loves it. she said that the instruction booklet was a disappointment though. for that reason i'll have to take off a star. if it wasn't for all the helpful online videos i guess we would have returned it.

instant pot 6 qt cooker a winner
First pot/cooker I've ever seen that DOE NOT come with a book of recipes! Disappointing but hundreds of recipes on the internet.

Easily my Favorite appliance in the whole kitchen.
This is a very versatile all-around workhorse in the kitchen that has a relatively footprint. The inner pot makes clean up from meals a breeze. You can also can in this particular model which is an added bonus.
