The Model 25 is as good or better than the orginal.
Few companies in America possess as much public recognition as Daisy does. They are masters at marketing and especially when they keep reproducing the winners they have had in the past. The Model 25 is a little hard to load the older you get. I would like to see if the Davy Crockett BB Powder Horn that Daisy made for Walt Disney in 1950 would make it any easier but I can not find one.I wish Daisy would reproduce a lot of the old accessories and guns that they use to make.

revisiting a legend
In 1964 I received a daisy model 25 for Christmas which made it the most special and memorable Christmas of my childhood. So after seeing it again on eBay I just had to re live that day again. Needless to say I was not disappointed. Just pulling it out of the shipping box and loading and shooting it for the first time was awesome. It arrived on time. In great shape. It shoots straight and hard just like I remember. If you love the sport of air rifles like I do you can't go wrong with buying a legend. And the model 25 is just that.

New and improved Model 25
The Model 25 is a classic BB rifle. I had one of these as a child and never appreciated what a great gun it was until about 30 years later. It’s large enough for an adult to use, but still small enough for a child. The pump action will build solid marksmanship skills that will last a lifetime. I think the new one is nicer than the old one was.

Excellent item and priced right
I have a 1963 Model 25 that is as good today as it was back then. This new Daisy is every bit as good as the vintage one for shooting and priced right. I keep the vintage one and my grandson gets the new one.

Great starter gun.
Seams to be made of good quality material. The gun has good power for a single pump action rifle. The accuracy is not very good but may-be if I use a match grade BB it may do better. I basically bought the gun because it is a replica of the first BB gun I ever owned. I don't expect to be using it very much, it's just a keepsake item. It's a great starter rifle for youngsters.

Fun for the whole family!
Out of the many BB/Pellet guns I have including Sheridan, Daisy, Crosman I must admit this little gun is very fun to shoot. I can't find anything I don't like about it yet. The pump action is different from any of my other guns. Very simple easy to shoot. A real keeper.

Daisy Model 25
The Daisy model 25 is the best air rifle ever made!! I’ve still got the one I bought in 1949 when I was only eight years old and it still shoots strong. I’m 77 now.

Daisy Model 25 BB pellet Air Rifle.
This is a very nice little bb rifle. Just like it has always been. I got a rifle like this when i was a child in 1956 or there a boult. I was about 10 years old. I purchased an air rifle like this for my son in 1968 and it is still in working condition. The rifle i just purchased is for my grandson. It should only be used with strict adult supervision in my opinion..

Back to the future
I still have my original #25 that i got 61 years ago for my 10th birthday. I decided to buy a new one to keep my old gun company. The new #25 is amzing. The quality is every bit as good as my original. If you want a piece of American history, buy this BB gun for your son or duaghter OR yourself and get to plinking!

I had a similar one as a kid in the 50s..really enjoyed the ole pump..it was Long John!! Haha
