Elite in every way
Have owned two Pioneer Elite surround receivers over the past 14 years; neither piece meeting my expectations. This blu-ray player on the other hand, is exactly what I hoped for and more. Extremely well built and flawless playback of 4K video and both CD/SACD audio formats. Highly recommend this unit for any A/V enthusiasts looking for a superb quality player at a reasonable price.

1 month wait is worth it
I was able to import the universal disc player for at least $400 less than the best offer that retailers could supply. The player arrived on the estimated date from overseas. It is a pleasure to watch my DVD collection again and listen to my cd and sacd collection. The audio quality is outstanding. I was blown away by how well everything sounds coming out of the Pioneer UDP-LX500

Pioneer UDP-LX500 is a great spinner.
LX500is a well built Universal disc player. The video and audio has been a nice upgrade over my older player.
