The scent is divisive (I like it) but the lather is unquestionably superb
Produces a really creamy, highly protective lather with very little effort. I definitely prefer shaving sticks over pucks, and this easily beats the other sticks I've tried so far (Palmolive, Arko, Boots). It is of course much more expensive than them, but I think it's going to last a long time; I'm 16 shaves in and there's very little change in the size of the stick. The post-shave feel for me is very comfortable; slightly powdery but not drying is the only way I can describe it. The other thing to consider is the scent;it's meant to be modelled on the smell of the tobacco plant. The tobacco component is there but overall I'd just describe the scent as old-school manly. I've never been a smoker, I'm not keen on the smell of tobacco, yet I really like this. There are some who hate it. All you can do is try it.

A great performer, great price.
Tabac is one of the great performers of wet shaving. Really great cushion and glide from the lather. Scent wise it is my favourite, and quite strong. The scent seems to divide the wet shaving community, but I love it.
