This model includes GPS and chart plotting capabilities. It also features a detailed U.S. map with high-definition mapping of more than 3,000 lakes, rivers, and coastal areas down to 1,000 feet. The addition of CHIRP sonar allows you to identify underwater targets more quickly. It also allows you to see targets at higher boat speeds, saving you time.This lightweight and compact finder includes advanced electronics commonly found in larger, more expensive models. The one-thumb operation of the page selector menu gives you fast and easy access to all the fish finder's features. You'll save time and get excellent results with Advanced Signal Processing, which reduces the need for manual adjustments. You'll view the bottom detail, lake structures, and fish that you're looking for more quickly and precisely. You can also avoid obstacles like submerged branches and rocks thanks to this device. TrackBack technology allows you to go back over the sonar history to check lake structure and fish targets for future reference. The TrackBack feature allows you to save a waypoint, eliminating the need to circle back and retrace your path. This model also supports DownScan imaging.The unit runs on 12-volt DC power. The CHIRP technology operates between 83 kHz and 200 kHz. The DownScan imaging system works with a 455/800 kHz transducer. The Lowrance Elite-4x Fishfinder can be set to a useful range of fishing modes. The Conventional sonar can be kept in General Use Mode or set to modes for fishing in shallow water, deep water, brackish water, fresh water, or clear water. There is also an ice fishing mode. Good value, but not waterproof
I use the fish finder/sonar on a sail boat, primarily as a depthsounder . It worked well, until the first time it got rained on. It died immediately! It is definitely not waterproof! I will keep the next one dry.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

a must when on the lake
