The scope also features ultra-high-grade glass lenses, which are fully multi-coated to provide superior clarity, sharpness, and brightness. Using Steiner’s proprietary Broadband anti-reflective lens coatings, this scope is able to achieve an impressive 94 percent light transmission. The scope features an impressive magnification range between 5x and 25x, allowing you to accurately hit your target at less than 100 yards or well over 1,000. Like most other sniper riflescopes, this scope features quite a large objective lens, in this case 56mm, which ensures that it offers maximum light transmission. This also provides the scope with quite an impressive field of view, as you’ll see approximately 7.23 feet at 100 yards on the lowest 5x magnification setting. At the highest 25x setting, you’ll still have a decent 1.43-foot field of view at 100 yards. This particular scope was developed by Steiner in close coordination with a range of special forces and weapons specialists from around the world. By using a larger 34mm main body tube, this scope provides a much wider range of elevation adjustments than found on most other scopes. This allows it to be far more accurate at longer distances, even if your target happens to be 1,500 yards away. Both the exterior design and the internal optics on the Steiner M5Xi 5-25x56mm scope are top of the line. Steiner Optics are Great!
This is my third Steiner military-grade rifle scope I have purchased and have had great results from all of them. The are very-clear optically, built with high-quality and like a tank! Adjustments are right-on 0.10 mil and tracking tests went perfectly. I see them as equal to SB, Kahles and the other European, high-priced optics.
