I purchased this printer to connect it to a vintage Macintosh Plus. It is a nice example of the early high quality ink jet printers available during the early 1990's. An important fact when buying this particular eBay item was that it came with the Apple installation disks. Unless the printer driver and related files are already on your vintage Mac, you will definitely need the disks that came with the printer. Installation was easy and took only a few minutes of disk swapping. I tested the StyleWriter ll with MacWrite and it produced a decent quality printout. Of course, it really won't get much use as a day-to-day printer. It is a cool reminder of Apple's early days with the historical multi-colored Apple logo on the front of it. As a final note you can also find print cartridges that work with it.
