New replacement parts
This is an exact fit to my beautiful DELL laptop XPS 1647. The old speaker just seemed to melt around the foam suspension and the sound was HORRIBLE when it went out. This new replacement subwoofer brought my computer's voice back to life and i could not be happier about it. It was an exact fit, i just used it to replace my old worn out speaker and suddenly my laptop was singing like it's old self again. Highly recommended if you have experienced the same speaker failure in your DELL STUDIO XPS 1647 laptop.

Don't forget the subwoofer
We had buzzing speakers on our Dell XPS 15, and replaced the two regular speakers but discovered there was a separate subwoofer that had torn paper- so we replaced it with this item- took 10 mins to install by watching a generic "how to disassemble " video - works like a charm. Watch out that the old speaker does not pick up (and hide)!any of the screws you remove from the laptop.
