Battery problem
My son uses the mouse. The only thing was right out of the box one battery was bad. The charger says its charged but the mouse says its dead and didn't work. So I had to buy 2 more batteries from madcatz out of my own pocket.

i love the color
the mistake was the receiver charger,its malfunction.thats why I cannot used it anymore,I have the same model the color is black.I try if they work for my rat 9 color red but,nothing happen..the biggest mistake with this product is NO AVAILABLE of receiver and charger to any store even on online.USELESS product.....................

As close to perfect I can get on Used.
Sturdy and smooth. I've had the RAT 5 version of this forever, and now that I have the wireless, although a little musty, I'm finally satisfied. I have a STRIKE 5 keyboard that I purchased back in 2012 and it still runs solid, so I'm sure this is the same.

Very adaptable
Wireless, adjustable and refinable with software adaptable dpi on the fly. Separate weights so you can get it as heavy or light as you like. Zoom/reduce DPI button for sniper shots. Excelllent

Instant classic in computers' design
The RAT did start a series of mouses which are not only of high tech value, but also real instant classics in computers' design history. The adjustable ergonomics has no rivals. There are actual inheritors of the RAT series, but the RAT 9 remains probably the most reliable in its connectivity.

Great Parts
As my title indicates, i bough this for parts for my R.A.T. 9 Red mouse, and the mouse on arrival looked great, i know this was for parts as the mouse wasnt operational, however most of the parts in the mouse where in perfect condition, and have a spare in case something goes wrong with my original mouse, ill have parts for repair.
