Good, but could be better
I gig a lot (over 60 dates last year). I use a wireless Line 6 G30 for every show. Does it sound good? Yes. Does it have good range? Sometimes, depending on the venue. If there’s lots of neon signs, multiple TV’s, like in a sports bar, or large outdoor venues with electronic signage, you will definitely get interference. The big drawback is construction of the transmitter. The battery door super flimsy. I have attached Velcro strips on mine to keep it from flipping open. I also have two transmitters on my guitar strap so I can easily switch if the battery level drops during a set, or worse yet, a song. The receiver fits nicely on my pedal board, but the battery level lights are hard to see in sunlight and need to be brighter. Battery life is probably 3-4 hours, so get ready to by large quantities of AA Duracell’s if your gigging often. For the $, I think it’s a good unit, but I’m definitely on the look out for something better.

Not for road use!
Reproduction of signal is great. The packaging of the transmitter components is light duty and poor design. Plastic is used when it should be metal, such as belt clip retainers to transmitter. They easily break off with minimal use. The plastic rivets used in the battery lid fatigue within a year of use. These should be metal or screws. The solder joint of wires to battery contacts fail when the transmitter is used often as under professional conditions. All these things happened within a year of use. Like I said great transmitter, poor construction. I'm both a professional musician and a retired design and test engineer and have had some experience in product quality control.

Line 6 G30 Transmitter
This is my third unit. I'm using 3 guitars for my band. Had to change to RF1 from RF2 (came in RF2 from factory preset) to suit my old G30 receiver. Changing the RF was easy. Unit is reliable as the other 2 old units i have earlier.

Great product for the price
I had to order this as a replacement for the first one I bought which lasted about 2 years. This wireless system provides an uninterrupted signal 100% of the time. The price is great when compared to higher end wireless systems. The only downside/caution is that this piece needs to be handled very carefully. It isn't as sturdy as I would like but I liked it enough to buy again. I had the misfortune of having batteries burst inside the last one causing it to cut in and out. I recommend using rechargeable batteries as they have never given me that problem.

Confused at first... but read instructions...now it works like a charm.
This was my second TBP06. I needed a spare and another one when I switched guitars. I loaded fresh batteries. But...nothing! I went to the website and it told me how to pair it up with my reciever. Now it works perfectly. I might even buy a third!
