Great Program
I was using WordPerfect X7 on my desktop that was running on Windows 7 and I used it often to type and print out songs, recipes and other items. When I had to get a new computer it was loaded with Windows 10. i looked for my disk to load WordPerfect on my new computer I couldn't find it but I found a disk copy that I had made before. When I was installing the program, it asked for the registration number, which I had lost. I checked on eBay and found version X8 for about the same price as the X7 so I ordered it and installed it. I am still getting used to the differences but the basic operation is the same as what I was used to. Geat WordProcessor
I have keep a copy of this on my computers clear back to the very early editions. One thing that I like is they have a great view code function. If you have used Word and other processors, you know what a problem it is to fix some of the hidden codes that you can't find a way to fix. WordPerfect has an easy to find option and it allows you to see everything and you can edit right there. You can also save in almost any format of word processor. I often like to use the Word 97 format for those who are die hard MS followers. I often use it to produce PDF files. I work on computers and when I need to send instructions, I will save them to PDF in this program that will make it easy to read. The Best Word Process Program
Word Perfect is my preferred word processing program. It is more user friendly than MS Word. It has a reveal code feature that allows one to delete various settings, such as font style/size, indents and tabs, etc. The only problem that I experienced was that the installation program would not recognize the serial number and I had to download another specific installation program from Corel. It seems to be a problem with Windows 10 as an older version of WP quit working and I experienced the same error message with the older WP04 installation program.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Great program
I've used WordPerfect for years and this one is seems just as good, if not better. I had to upgrade because of Windows 10. I have not used this new version too long, but so far I like it. I can use all my old WordPerfect files, and I'm able to keep on as if nothing has changed. I haven't yet used any of its new features, but what I have used so far is great. My old version was Professional and had Paradox 10, which I miss, and my old Paradox 10 does not work with this version, at least for me. However, otherwise, I like it. The view codes feature is extremely useful, and I understand other word processors do not have this most helpful feature. Best Version of WordPerfect for Windows 10
My previous version of WP 5 was starting to act up when I upgraded to Windows 10 so I bought this version and got it for a great price. Has great power in all the onscreen choices for format and design elements
To a user/trainer of very that used WordPerfect Fkeys together with rgb colors--I find this very new version great (reveal codes, quick table/columns/clipart ok but not as super as earlier versions of CDraw and WordPerf) and more- but it looks familiar because as jobs went, I had to know WordStar, MSWord Word requires using it for a fair time to understand and appreciate its power. That would seem to be true also for this version of WPerfx8. I'll probably keep using WPerf just because I choose to do it--retirement from using/editing/design Word&WordPerf and training adults allows to these choices.

The Best & Most Reliable of the Simple Text Programs
WordPerfect used to be the go-to word processing program and I now, decades later, still install both WordPerfect and Word on my computers. Yes, Word does things WP can't do, but for note-taking, quick letters, etc., I still do use WP because it's just so simple. If my daughter were still young, I'd start her with WP. Unless you have to create and do major editing on text documents, I would recommend WP. If, however, you have to turn in manuscripts and other more elaborately-formatted text, well, some places won't even accept WP anymore ... thus the need for Word. Still my favourite

Great Word Processing Suite at a Great Price!
I am an attorney and, having used both Word and WordPerfect, the latter is so much more user friendly than Word. The state agency where I work will no longer support WordPerfect, so I bought my own for my home computer. Once you become familiar with WP, I think you will agree that it's much easier to use. I bought the X8 version because it was discounted and I did not need the latest version for what I will be using it for at home. A needed upgrade for a dependable and well-featured office suite.
Wordperfect Office X8 corrects malfunctions that affected my earlier version of Wordperfect X5 when running under Windows 10, which satisfies my reason for purchase. The new version did crash once soon after installation but apart from that seems to be reasonably stable. Wordperfect Office has been a great office software suite over the decades, but after having purchased multiple copies of half a dozen versions I would not want to have to purchase new licenses at the frequency of new version releases over the past few years.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
