Average tea
The tea quality for this price is not very reasonable. Appearance: Broken and dusty, as is ok for fukamushi (deep steamed) teas. But the appearance on photo is different. Color is tend more to yellowish color. Infusion is very cloudy and fresh green. Taste and fragrance: The tea has nearly no fragrance, but not any disharmonic tones. Taste is bitter especially for fukamushi. Overall: In our country (Czech) is possible to buy better Japanese tea for this price even the price here in shop is two times higher than same tea in Japan. Good quality tea
It has a very "green" tase, if prepared correctly it has a slight sweet taste. 70-75 Celsius water is preferred. At 80 Celsius it can have a tiny bitter taste "due to overbrew". Great tea

Get informed before you judge
Wonderful tea,freshly picked shincha. A lot of tea drinkers out there have the idea of quality tea as a full-leaf non-broken-leaf tea.This does not apply to Fukamushi tea types since it is an original form of this tea caused by the processing of tea leaves.In exchange one gets full bodied,deep green and fragrant umami-ful cup of tea,cold-brewed or hot-brewed either way is fine.The later one,of course,will bring out more caffeine(teanine?)while the first one is better for a hot summer days.Have a nice cup of tea!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Strtange at first- more normal later
