I've worked with aircraft like the Tornado and Typhoon and one thing I've learnt from programming these beasts is that.....you can never have too many buttons.
The X55 Rhino has a myriad of features that allow you to configure your throttles and flight stick the way you want to and fly a really realistic profile without having to resort to complicated keyboard sequences needed on programs like FSX. I really enjoy using these controls and can't wait to be able to integrate them with my own cockpit simulation.
If there's one drawback I find that the controls are quite stiff (like the real things) but that means they need to be really well mounted otherwise they have a tendency to slip about. Saitek have include holes for screws but I prefer not to use these on my office desk. A pair of clamps would have been nicer
