Good Fit and Finish
Ordered this grip before I picked up my Ruger SP101 as I knew the factory grips were going to be inadequate. Installation was a breeze, fitting is good, and the feel is great. Most of my other firearms have Hogue grips on them (1911s, ARs, & Combat Shotguns), but I knew for the application I was to be using my SP101, aka ‘Baby Tank’ for, this grip would better prevent ‘printing’, versus the Hogue grip. Specifically, the Hogue grip adds an additional finger groove for the pinky finger, thus adding an additional 1” to the overall length of the grip. This Pachmayr grip doesn’t have any finger grooves, and is shorter in its length, therefore satisfying my requirement. Not to mention, it makes my SP101 more user friendly for my wife, as it’s not too big for her hands, but big enough for mine, while still providing excellent grip and control, even under full power magnum loads. You won’t be disappointed. Attached are before and after photos (before I cleaned her up, did a little gun smithing with the trigger and hammer springs, and added the Pachmayr grip). If you have to ask which ones are the ‘before’ photos, you probably need to have an eye exam... just sayin.

Fills the hand and improves grip.
This grip is shorter than the stock SP101 grips by about an eight of an inch. It seems to fill the hand more than the stock grips as well. I absolutely dig the recessed Pachmayr logo on both sides of the grip. I'm in favor of them not because they look fancy, but because they're a tactile spot that helps achieve a proper grip faster. Upon installation of the grip I noticed some wobbling if the revolver was shaken. Attaching the loop side of some Velcro to the bottom and back surfaces inside the Pachmayr grips alleviated the wobbling.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Sp101 grip
I have a long fingers and houge grip did not work for me.it was to slim and long at the same time, it would be hard to concealed gun for me. This grip is A thicker And kind of sticky, fits me perfect,Maybe it’s not the prettiest grip On the market, but has a function better than any grip i’ve tried! The only problem why I didn’t give a five star to a grip is when you put it on a gun and tied it up with a screw it’s still moving. That pisses me off. Houge Grips used to be like that,And after the time Houge start to build better grips than pachmayr. So I hope people with long fingers Will find mine review helpful. It’s great grip, it gives you more stability when you shoot 357 rounds. Good grip
I prefer these grips over the Hogue. I like the Hogue, but not as much as these. The Hogue does not let me position my hand as high as I'd like. I prefer my middle finger to be as close to the underside of the trigger as possible. I can do that with these Pachmayr grips. Not the old quality Pachmayr.

Good grips

Pachmayr Compac SP101 Grip
