Cute nature story of a cougar
Charlie was a cub who didn't have a mother when he was found by a lumberman, Jess Brown, who had pity on the poor baby. It is the story of the cub which began as he was bottle fed until he was full grown and became part of the logging camps of the Pacific Northwest. He is as curious as a kitten. There were fun times and times where he got into trouble, but Charlie always made it through. He was torn between being domestic or wild. This is an engaging Disney nature story with a happy ending. Both children and adults will love this movie.

Good Wholesome Vintage Disney movie
I remember watching the movie "Charlie the Lonesome Cougar" many times and many years ago. I only wish the movie was longer, but it brings back some nice childhood memories, and it was a time when Disney movies were good and wholesome. Today, Disney is trying to make all kinds of "statements" in their movies, and that has gotten old. I won't buy a Disney product or movie of today, but the vintage clean and wholesome movies are different, and I will keep looking for more of those. I've already watched this movie a few times, and I'll be watching it a few more. Thanks!

Charlie the lonesome cougar one of the best titles.
It is narrated by a good actor and singer from the past. I like the movie so much that I have watched this from years ago. A good investment.

A fun film to watch
This is a very fine film. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. The acting is professional, and the story is interesting. It must have taken a long time to train the cougar. This is a motion picture for all ages, and all will enjoy it.

A Disney GEM!
This is a classic heart warming and VERY educational movie for ALL ages. The scenery and narration is at Disney perfection. Dramatic, Amusing and TIMELESS. A MUST have to any Disney collection!

Cougar Adventures
The fifteen-or-so dollars that I paid for this DVD was definitely money well spent. I saw this film on TV on a Sunday evening when I was a boy, and I had forgotten just how good the movie is. My son is a thirteen year old who has become increasingly disillusioned with feature films, but he was genuinely impressed with both the engaging storyline and the film’s more formal aspects, especially the photography and the voice-over narration.
