Arko wet shaving soap stick
Was looking for a travel friendly shaving soap to use with a brush and traditional safety razor. This product works brilliantly. Wet the end of the stick and rub on to wet skin, then lather with your brush. Produces plenty of smooth lather which is a pleasure to shave with, giving a very close shave. Smells good too. Works much better than modern aerosol foams and gels IMHO and much less wasteful packaging. Recommended.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Great stuff!
When I have a wet shave at my local barbers they use this product. So I bought some from so I can use it at home. Great smell and it keeps the skin on my face soft. Good quality

ARKO TURKISH SHAVING STICK

Great soap for a great value
Nothing much to say about the Arko that haven't been said already: cheap, it's easy to lather (it's dry so you have to use a fair amount of water for it to lather), and is one of the slickest soaps on the market. Some people don't like the scent, but I don't mind it. You can also take off the foil and let it "air out" for a few months. That usually does the trick. The King of Shaving Soaps!
Used Arko Shaving Soap sticks for a while now. Amazing value in this bulk purchase and if used properly then it will last for an unbelievably long time. The trick is to peel a little of the backing paper away, wet your face then dip the stick in the water and rub the stick directly into your stubble until your bristles are white over. Then using a wet shaving brush, whip into a rich leather directly in your face. This may take a minute or so but it’s worth the wait! Great Shaving Cream, Superb Value.
As a new user of this cream, and having just switched from using multi blade cartridge razors to the traditional double edged safety razors, I have been experimenting with different brands of soaps, creams and so on. I can say that for me this inexpensive stick produces a lovely smooth lather with good glide, a very mild lemon scent, and leaves the skin feeling moisturized and smooth. I will definitely be using it regularly. It would also be great for travel, and is good for the environment, no aerosol cans to dispose of. I can see they offer many shaves from a single stick too. For me the Palmolive stick is slightly better, but Arko is very good indeed
I'd rate this as the 2nd best shaving soap I've used so far, with the Palmolive stick just in front. Arko lathers very readily and if you give it enough water (more than you might think) it produces a lot of slick, protective lather which results in a very good close shave. The scent from a freshly opened stick is strong and hangs around even when I shave in the shower and give myself a thorough rinse afterwards. I personally don't find it too disagreeable, but it is *strong*. Many say that the scent bleeds away if you leave the stick out in the open for a few days prior to use. I might try that. For me the Palmolive stick beats Arko in terms of working time (the Arko lather dries a little faster) and in the post-shave feel (I find Arko a little drying) but possibly I'm still not giving it enough water. Good value and great lather
