A good mid-range GPU for the price.
The RX 580 is really good for 1080p gaming especially for its price. While it certainly isn't the fastest card. The 8GB of VRAM will certainly help keep it up for a few years as more and more big box games use high resolution textures for their games. In terms of rendering videos. It's alright, takes a few minutes to render for a 20-30 minutes video. Working as intended
It’s still a performer and for 148$ it’s hard to pass up. It replaced an old Gtx 660 and i only had issues getting NVIDIA off my computer during installation. It’s a pain but not xfx or ati’s fault. It came in the factory box inside the static bag. Seems to be in good shape and has no thermal issue I can tell. I haven’t upgraded my monitor yet but I’m sure it can handle more than what I’m pushing now. I’m running a dell 27in 1080 60hz. I may have to over clock my 3570k to keep up with it a bit better. Graphics on my games are really good.
The install was easy, removed all software and drivers from old card which takes about 30 min, removed old card, installed new, booted pc and loaded software for new card. My card runs cool even with my game settings on ultra. Graphics were clean and I run a 3.4 CPU with 16 GB of ram. I looked at benchmarks on this card compared to other cards and there was not enough difference to justify the cost of the other cards. I can say the difference is night and day compared to my old card which was top of the line when purchased. It doesn't just play my games good with 6 GB memory but my videos are really good. Great EGPU option for older Macbooks!
Works great with my early '13 MBP using the Sonnos Breakaway Box. Can't really even hear the fans going. This card is natively supported by MacOS, so it's a good option for an external GPU for an older Macbook. There's a great video on Youtube, which goes through all the details. I like this GPU. Excellant for my build.
I needed a GPU for building my fourth gaming build. I am using parts having good reviews and specs. I also needed easy overclocking. I made made my goal. It performs well for my gaming and everyday computing needs. I am a big respecter of graphics and use 3 ViewSonic monitors, one 32 and two 27s . Small amount of money for pretty good gaming results.
This GPU is great for pretty much any game you can throw at it as long as it's around 1440p. I wouldn't need it to do anything else for me- I'm perfectly content with 90-200 fps at 1440p. Great Card, XFX did good on this one, best budget card for 2017 2018
XFX GTS Black Edition OC+ is quick at 1425 and will go higher. Actually pretty quiet, not even too obnoxious under full load. Temps stay under 72 for me. For the price, it is an obvious choice for a gamer build on a budget. 1080p gets great framerates and even 1440p with some mild adjustments to game settings. You may as well get two for around 150, I did, and depsite what people are saying, dual gpu setup is not dead even though the crossfire (and sli) branding is dead. unfortunately doesnt support Vulkan so no mans sky and Doom i cant play

great rx580 got it for an amazing price. gpu was practically brand new but besides the thermal compound having to be replaced im very satisfied.
