Works with Linux
This device will be recognized by newer linux kernals out of the box, just plug and play. My only regret with this device is that there is no way to truly bypass the preamps (so using a mic-preamp is sorta out of the question). Its a really good interface, especially for the price. Depending on how professional or production-flexible you want to get with recording audio, you might want to do more research to decide if this is right for you and for how long.

Roland DUO-CAPTURE EX UA-22 USB Audio / MIDI Interface
it's an easy product, you plug it and everythings go in place, just plug your guitar or your mic and it works well, thet only thing that i do not like is the power and the phantom are in the back of the interface
