Solid Funky Keyboard that is Fully Functional
There is no "controversy" to me. If you do ANY research about the product, you should not be surprised. It has the "clicky-clack" of a mechanical keyboard. It has perfect weight from the all metal construction. It feels perfect with my 10.5" iPad, and my Pixel 3 fits well in the notch too. Super easy to pair with Bluetooth. I do not use it at work, it is not a direct replacement for everyday use for high functioning productive multi taskers. How I have used it is at the coffee shop, on the weekend on the porch when I am relaxing or writing something other than work reports or business emails. It feels great, the key pads are large. I am old enough to appreciate the "return bar" being programmed as it is. The volume knob disguised as the paper advancer is smart as hell, kudos to that detail. It's worth the regular retail price and if you are lucky you might find one used or on sale. It has been durable, I found a small leather handbag at a thrift store I put the QWERKY in for transport. It is not silent when you type, but not obnoxious either. 3 times I have been approached by others when using it in public and I am pretty sure I sold one when they pulled up the site standing right there with me! Ha! they are "funky" yes, but they are also not a cheaply made novelty item either. Regis- "WORTH IT" it my final answer!

What a great idea
I visited the Hemingway museum and decided I wanted a 1920s era Corona typewriter. I acquired one and it was troublesome to type on after so many years using a laptop-but I loved it anyway. No procrastinating
+ It is really easy to connect to the iPad with Bluetooth. The click sound from the switches (blue cherry) tells me there is progress in my writing. It is so beautiful and romantic where it sits on the table, so you can't procrastinate. You become Hemingway. - Nothing wrong with the product but adding a charger in the box would be nice.
