As EBS claims, tube warmth to super crunch. There are some details that weren't perfect: 1) If you're expecting to go between bypass/warmth/crunch, that is difficult to set up and the crunchy (vintage) mode is not as loud as the warmth (modern) mode. 2) Some amps have compressors that will not allow this pedal to shine (I have such an amp, so I use it directly as my R stereo channel). 3) I haven't had it long enough to comment on its durability. It has no on/off switch or standby mode. But I am very happy with it. So much cheaper and more versatile and easier to carry around than an entire tube amp!
