The Sirui T-025X Carbon Fiber Tripod with C-10 Ball Head is a compact, lightweight and stylish black, carbon fiber tripod with included head. With upward-folding legs, it collapses to just 11.8 with the head attached and weighs just 1.5 lb. Supporting loads up to 13.2 lb, this support is capable of holding DSLR cameras with most lenses and is ideal for compact and mirrorless cameras and camcorders.The T-025X features twist locks for easy setup and each leg has and automatic leg angle lock mechanism for speed and convenience. A removable center column allows for table-top and low angle shooting as low as 4.3 with the ball head. When fully extended, the tripod reaches a maximum height of 54.5 with the head attached. Nice, Inexpensive, Well Designed With Nice Finishing Touches
Overall a nicely made tripod. I used it on concrete with a Nikon D810 and 24-120 F4 lens. That camera setup seems a bit top heavy. The tripod is so lightweight you run the risk of tipping it over. So, be careful when using a heavy camera. The tripod is quite stout and rigid given it's weight. But it does have resonant shake. I had to use vibration resistance even with the tripod. All movable parts are nicely smooth and damped for a nice finished feel. I moved the unit several times and the leg joints didn't loosen. The unit is so light it's almost surreal. I can imagine carrying it around all day without a problem. The leg joints are rotating, making them a bit slower than flip latches. But they are very secure. One thing I don't like is the manufacturer's caution NOT to carry the unit, loaded. over your shoulder. The resonant shake is greatly reduced with the center post not extended. Overall the unit is great for outdoor, portable use. It is not what you want for studio work. Ideally, you would want to use a remote shutter release, as it is difficult to depress the shutter release without getting some shake.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Lightweight for backpacking only
The weight is right for backpacking with a full frame Pentax K1 DSLR and the Pentax 24-70mm/f2.8, but maximum stability wise, I'd simply leave off the vertical column at home and not use the last lower segment of the tripod. In this configuration, the tripod is short, but relatively stable. I've seen more expensive lightweight carbon fiber tripods be less stable for a lot more coin. Sort of a good value here. This tripod saves me and my back 45 oz compared to my MeFoto. On the backpack hike, I will loose the tripod case and maybe the big 24-70 zoom and might go to a 20mm/f2.8 and a 77mm/f1.8 primes to save even more weight. The goal is some Milky Way shots on Kalalau Beach on Kauai this June. This tripod means not I have three (actually 5) for all occasions from 2 1/4 square film with casters for weddings & studio to now an ultralight backpacking one.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Super short, functions as emergency tripod
Super compact to fit for travel. However, this is more an "emergency" tripod than a functioning tripod. Not sure I will trust this with my DSLR for a self-timing photo. It's also really SHORT.
