This Brother MFC-J470DW wireless printer allows you to assign print jobs from any of your devices. You can use the wireless printing application on your mobile smart device. You get user-friendly operation with its 1.8-inch color LCD display. The front panel features the control buttons to configure your print job. You can set up the wireless functionality with ease by following the Wireless Assistant. When printing a long draft file, you can use the Ink-Save Mode to outline images. You can use the Web Connect feature to access many different Web services to access your files. The Brother MFC unit allows you to print from any smart device on the fly. The built-in Wi-Fi gives you instant access to wireless and cloud services. The MFC-J470DW also helps you to quickly locate stored files. Directly scan documents and pictures from Google Drive, Dropbox, Facebook or Windows OneDrive with the click of a button. You can then print directly from your favorite websites, or scan, copy, fax, or email the document whenever necessary. This all-in-one printer also has a fax memory of up to 500 pages to help keep your work in order. Download and save files directly from your wireless or mobile devices such as an iPhone, Android, or Windows phone. If you need to save important items externally, the Brother printer comes with a USB port for offline access. This all-in-one printer and scanner have a number of features to help you maintain an efficient office environment. Each Brother machine has a 35-page automatic feeder to tackle high-volume jobs with ease. The paper tray itself maintains a 100-sheet capacity to print each standard document. The device has a manual feeder that accepts pages in order sheet by sheet. This is in case you need to insert specialty paper such as legal size paper or brochures. With its heavy-duty capacity, each Brother printer can dispatch a standard 2,500-page monthly duty cycle for your office needs. The cycle exceeds industry federal guidelines for energy efficiency. The Brother device also offers automatic duplex printing to easily create two-sided documents. You can also use the scanner to send a fax. The 33.6 Kbps modem transmit faxes quickly at a rate of 3 seconds per page. In addition to the hardware to handle professional-level office tasks, this machine features state-of-the-art software to ensure print quality. The FC-J470DW inkjet can print in resolutions of up to 2,400 by 600 dpi, resulting in sharp documents and images. The printer works in color or black-and-white. The Brother machine can print up to 33 ppm in black and 27 ppm in color. Additionally, the scanner has a full-color flatbed that can scan interpolated resolution of up to 19,200 by 19,200 dpi. You can access each of these software settings and commands on the color touchscreen. Along with print quality, the Brother MFC-J470DW offers an inkjet system consisting of four separate ink tanks. Each driver in the printer's system uses an individual ink cartridge. You can replace one cartridge in the printer at a time. Front-loading ink cartridges ensure that ink replacement is less work. Set up not so smooth this time around!
I always buy Brother printers....they work good. This time I paid $250 more for the same printer I purchased a couple years ago.....pandemic price gouging. Also, this time I had problems with it right off the bat. It would not print in black. I spent hours trying to get it to work correctly & finally gave up and had to call Brother's technical help. These printers are the best IMHO. That is why I ordered another one just like my old one.
The printer came with just the plug in cord, no wireless chip or anyway to hook it to fax. PLUS, the box it came in had a bunch of "CHERRY PITS " in the bottom of the box and one in the back of the printer....they had been eaten. My old printer is the same type, so I had to use the plug ins from it and reinstall it with my DVD to get the printer to work, otherwise I would still not be able to set it up. Best for PC, but works with Mac!
Easy Peasey Setup....But scanning is really setup for PC & Windows. I still have not mastered that, but this thing works & ink is a LOT cheaper than for my old Epsons! No dedicated slot on the back for envelope printing but I figured that out quickly: Simply take out your regular paper, narrow the guides, insert an envelope & send the job....Put the envelope face down, closure to the left & you will get a great print job....Overall, I am happy!!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Nice product

I've been able to use the ink cartridges that I was stuck with when mine broke!

Great printer

Couldn't get the wireless set up.
I haven't been able to set up the wireless even after contacting the company two times. They've tried to be helpful, send me emails on how to do it. I followed their directions, but it still didn't give me the results. not happy with it

A nice multifunction device at an affordable price.
I received the printer on time and in good condition. No manuals or software was included, but the Brother website had all the information I needed. Setup was easy and it connected to my wifi without issue. The black and white printing was very good. I had some problem with the cyan color. I ran the color ink cleaning operation several times and finally the blue was working.
