Excellent!
This is a wonderful piece if hardware for the price. Quality build, good specs, and a super refined feel because of the metal frame and JBL speakers. I work professionally as an electronics technician and I can absolutely say this unit lives well up to my rigorous expectations. This computer handles most modern day games at more than acceptable resolution/frame rate and is prefect for video editing on the go, my gf is in love with it too. While the color dynamics on the display aren't 100 perfect, the 4K display option is well worth the jump in price considering its only a small up charge and comes with an upgraded SSD as well. Perfect for hobbyist photographers!
Not sure why someone gave this laptop a 1-star rating earlier, but I am perfectly content with mine. The 250 gigs SSD is perfect for booting up the OS. The 1TB HDD is ample storage space for most people though I usually use a portable one in addition to this. At the time of purchase, I wavered back and forth between a 32gb and 16gb graphics card, but finally settled on the 16gb that came with this product. As it turned out, per Adobe, 16 gb is more than enough for Lightroom and Photoshop. 32 gb is overkill and you end up paying more for something you don't need, unless the laptop serves a dual-purpose for gaming a well. I primarily use mine for photo-editing and the reason for my purchase. On a different note, indeed battery life is pretty short during heavy application usage and it's far from lightweight. It weighs slightly more than my 17.6" laptop, but then again, it's part of the trade-offs for the other stuff they had to cram into the frame. Sound is awesome...JBL. Great laptop, with caveats
Great laptop, but be aware there were some issues with screen bricking. Believe this is what happened to my first unit. Seems to be a software, not hardware issue. If you buy one, immediately after going through initial setup with Windows etc., update bios and all drivers. Units were manufactured in 2016, and there are updates over a year newer than that. Great laptop.

Best budget gaming laptop.
