Matches the Phone's Personality
I think this is the kind of item you buy because you care a bit more about the brand and product than an average consumer. What I mean is that the Pixel 2 XL is under criticism for not being the best it can be and rightfully so. It's NOT the best phone Google could've created, it's mediocre at best and the exact same can be said for the case. There are cool features about is, but it's suffers from being overpriced and not feature packed compared to the rivals. The phone now comes with a big discount from Verizon thanks to the less than stellar reviews, however accessories rarely get a price reduction this early in the production run. If you care about Google and the phone as images of the brand more than just utilities/consumables then by all means buy this case. If you want something more protective, go with an otterbox, if you want something more stylish, get a nicer material than cloth or a design that is more unique. Fantastic case - unique, with a great feel!
This is an awesome phone case - one of the best. It's grippier than most (though some silicon cases are gripper), with a wonderful in-hand feel. The buttons are clicky and feel very nice - just like with no case. Screen protection is adequate - maybe 1mm more lip at the top and bottom would be good.

Stylish, good enough for me.
