Disappointingly Fragile
You would think that something that costs hundreds of dollars and that is made in the USA would last and be of good quality, especially when it's a product as well knowing and supposedly reliable as Leatherman. Unfortunately however, two of the attachments broke almost instantaneously. The cutting tool snapped while being used to cut open a plastic courier bag and the bottle opener broke after opening only 3 bottles, which has in turn warped the clasp so it now doesn't open and close properly. Am really disappointed with this product as it was a birthday present for my husband and it's falling apart by the day, rendering it useless. the real deal
in past reviews yes it is too big for most, I took two links off. you can pick ones that you most likely will not use. it was a little tight, I took off two connecters put them in a vise and made them straight which helped.

Brilliant.
I bought this to travel on planes with. It's magnificiant engineering and makes me feel less helpless on modern commercial aviation. Why,,,,, well its complicated. I'm not a jewelry person. But it's stunning engineering and I like it. Old aircrew.... I need something to make me feel empowered.

Adjustment
