Gorgeous Display
I paid £750 for this display and it is worth every single penny. It is absolutely gorgeous to look at. My biggest concern with upping the resolution would be to have the text too small, I believe this is the perfect combination between size and resolution. Games look fantastic and text is easy enough to read. The extra width pays dividends when programming. My only complaint is that on Linux, on Display Port, every so often the screen flickers. Simply the best screen at this time for quality visuals What can i say,this was the 3rd of three top end gaming monitors i bought, and returned.. only to keep this one :) This thing is amazing :) i had to compete with a 4k 40" i already had, and this is the only screen that bettered it. 34" of 100HZ IPS panel is amazing :) I tried a Viewsonic 27" 165HZ IPS and then an AOC 35" 120? HZ AMVA then this I am someone who struggles to perceive high refresh, but after little use i started to realise everything seemed more real! i did a blind test on my daughter, she sat down and played some Borderlands 2, and i asked her what she noticed? i swapped from 60 to 100HZ a few times... her comment was that everything seemed more 3D. I have this under my 40" and i've found i am using this more and more.. even when sat further back wit ha controller. ok, time for a negative.. .the stand... my god does it stick out a lot.... i've actually had to rotate it so i can push it closer to the wall. less than ideal and that's on massive desk.
