Human side of war
This is my favorite WWII movie and I have been looking for a dvd for a long time. It depicts the humanity of both sides of the war while showing the ugly side. Too many movies focus on the ugly side and neglect the human aspects of the people involved on both sides of the conflict. WWII sea drama that takes place over the period of a day.
A really great navy sea battle set during WWII. Two really good actors pitted against each other in really tense situations in the south Atlantic--A German U-boat and an American destroyer escort or frigate. This is a big, really good looking knife...
This is a big, really good looking knife. It’s sturdy and feels good in my hand. The blade could be sharper. The sheath fits the blade well and the retaining strap stays out of the way when you remove or insert the knife. On a lot of sheaths that retaining strap tends to fold down into the path of the sharpened side of the blade where it can easily be cut when the knife is drawn or inserted. A nice war movie.

Good product.

A "cerebral" war movie.
Suspenseful drama of the cat and mouse between a destroyer captain and a U-boat commander. No politics, no " good guy / bad guy", acceptable violence and very little blood. The commander's pre-nap dialog is well worth giving serious thought.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
