Good value and much fun.
Good value for money. It is not easy to play a tune on the Theremin and much practice is required, although sound effects are much easier. Family and friends have had a great deal of fun trying to play the Theremin. I had to make up a cable using a 6.3mm mono jack, a 3.5mm stereo jack and a single core screened cable, to enable me to plug it into the "aux" socket on my stereo system. Great little instrument!
I purchased the mini Theremin as a Christmas present for my fiancé. He's practicing almost every day now and tries to figure out how to play it. It's definitely not easy to play (I've tried it too) but it is so much fun and a great challenge. Amazing how the smallest finger movements can make a big difference in the tones. Lightweight with good features
It does exactly " what it is says on the tin" so to speak. The product was very well wrapped and arrived on time. Included were full instructions for use. I am very pleased with the Theramin. A brilliant bit of kit
A great beginners instrument - has an aerial for pitch control, but not amplitude, although this can be controlled via the on front volume know or with an analogue volume pedal. You can also chose the octave/register of the overall pitch with the pitch knob (again on the front). A brilliant bit of kit, and great for trying out your skills before deciding on whether the spend a lot of money (£600 plus) on the full size instrument. Not for serious use
It's OK. I know it's only a toy version but I was a bit disappointed in the sound and range. I would have been quite happy to leave it at that and not comment but EBay keeps badgering me to leave a review so if I'm going to be badgered I'll make it an honest one. I certainly wouldn't complain about the speed of service or quality of packaging and wouldn't hesitate using the same supplier if they had something else that I liked but this has turned out to be just an expensive novelty rather than something that I had hoped I could get a tune out of. It would be improved if there was an option to run from the mains, as it is I either have to go through 9V batteries or use an old 240v to 9v battery connection adapter and have unsightly cumbersome leads sticking out of the back with the cover off.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Much better than first impression

Suprisingly good sounds for low price.
I bought this item as a bit of fun and for some home recording having been a fan of the Theremin's sci-fi sounds for years and having watched some reviews on youtube. As a cheap alternative to a full size professional Theremin this is an excellent choice. Sounds amazing, specially through a decent amplifier with effects such as reverb or tremolo. Can't Really Pass An Opinion

Amazing
Brilliant product, if you're looking to get into Theremin and don't want to spend too much it's a great starting point. For the full kind of experience buy a volume guitar pedal and hook it up too. If you want to get even more experimental try a range of guitar pedals, distortion, delay, reverb etc, these will totally transform the theremin into something else. Superawesome little beastie!
I'm amazed by this fantastic little theremin! Used with and without effects it has an ace sound and I'm already making music with it! (Working on a cover of 'sleepwalk' right now!) Am really impressed with the price too! No need for all the bells and whistles of the really expensive ones, this does exactly what I need! Thanks guys for an absolutely top notch bit of kit.
