Best Godzilla game yet
Killer Kaiju fan service with this game. Loads of modes to play, solo or co-op. Huge amounts of unlockables & trophies.. this is the definitive version of this game, the PS3 version falling short with a smaller roster of kaijus (which are actually playable in king of Kaiju mode for ps4, whereas only then big G is selectable in the ps3 offering) so if you want ALL the Kaiju, and want to play as them and be the bad guy instead, you're only option is the ps4 version. The graphics are slightly upscaled, but not very noticeable. The addition of HD cutscenes when encountering the Kaiju on PS4 is awesome! This game really shines in co-op too, but the solo campaign is where the meat is at. Multiple pathways mean you rarely travel the same places in repeat play throughs, unless you're a sucker for punishment and go the hard routes every time (or wuss out and go the easy routes instead). One great game mechanic is that G always starts out at 50M, and the more you destroy cities, army troops, even battle Kaiju, the more G grows until you get over 100M and come back as burning Godzilla to face off against the 2014 legendary beast himself. Diorama mode is fun where you get to arrange miniature toys of the monsters in mini city-scapes and take pics. If you like your gahsapon, you're in for a treat. Evolution mode lets you upgrade your Kaiju, but at a cost. You can only collect Kaiju DNA after defeating them in battle, and it's pretty scarce so if you want to level-up G and his posse of Kaiju, there's a fair bit of grinding here. Gameplay is fun, and can be challenging.. but there's not much variety to the formula. If you like the gameplay, well, that's a good thing. Well worth the cost (pretty cheap now) and highly recommended for all tokusatsu nerd gamers. Ive got the platinum trophy for the PS3 version & now playing thru the ps4 one but it's kicking my butt. Worth is if you are a fan of franchise.

Great Fans Game
All aspects of this game are fun. The graphics are good and there's a lot to keep you busy and satisfied. There is only one true overall issue. You must be a true Godzilla fan. The more you know of Godzilla and its history, the more you will get out of this game. I've been a G fan for years. I've seen all of the movies both good and bad so I personally get a real kick out of playing the game. A Game Meant for Godzilla Fans
Despite it's bad reviews, it should not be overlooked. While it's not for everyone, this game is a tribute to Godzilla fans across the world. Most people complain about the controls, but there is nothing wrong with them. This game never should have been taken off shelves or the PlayStation store. It seems everyone expected a fast-paced fighting game, but that is not how Godzilla movies were. If you enjoy Godzilla and it's movies, you should give this game a chance. Godzilla ps4
This game is worth every penny, even at $100, which is a normal collectors edition for any game price, for a Godzilla fan this is worth it. It’s more of a simulation fighting/city destroying game.
