Wonderful gadget! Lamp have smart feature ability with Google Home.
We first bought Google Home and Smart Plugs remote to turn off downstairs lamps then we wanted to try out the Philips Hue 3rd Generation Hub and decided to start it simple with 3rd Gen Philip Hue White Light Ambience Bulb for his bedside lamp. This Philip Hub came in handy as I can tell Google Home to turn off/on the Philip Hue nightlight lamp before heading upstairs to bed! It is also great when the timer kicks in and the Philip Hue light fades to dim and then dark (light off)! Husband especially loves it changing colors of the light from his tablet. No longer having to manually flip the switch. Love it!

Working like a charm!
Great purchase! Arrived on time in perfect condition and super easy to install. There was a minor glitch updating the firmware, but it was because Philips was doing some online maintenance. After that - had it up & running in minutes! And now have my outdoor lights on timers. Working like a charm!

Seamless transition from my v2 Hue Hub
When I connected the hub to my network it detected my prior hub and transferred the settings to the new hub. If you make a mistake simply use the reset button on the NEW hub and then connect it to the network to trigger the migration of the settings to the new hub. You need access to both of the hubs (to press the connect button), the app, and both hubs need to be on the same network segment . Now that I look at it if you need a bulb or two then buying the white bulbs with the hub for $50 is a great deal as each bulb is $15 retail and the hubs run $45. Hub works beautifully. It does not like my GE smart bulbs nor my German controlled led strip light connector but it does control them.

Very Good Quality for A Refurbished Unit
It might be refurbished but the thing worked better than my original bridge version 1. I had a little bit of an issue the other day connecting to it, but I think that was due to the router antenna as my phone WIFI connection also got worse in that room. Don't be scared that it's refurbished. For what it does it's better to buy it used at a cheaper price. This is the opposite of a TV or computer. The more time it spends being used, means less time the 2nd person buying it has serious issues to fix.

Easy to use bridge
I found it very useful. In my case, I bough PHILIPS light bulbs first thinking I could use it without the bridge, but then I found out that the bridge is a necessary unit. The bridge is a good simple-to-use device that I plugged to my router, downloaded their app and set up all bulbs in 5 mins.

Quality comes at a cost = high value
Pricy, but very very high quality. The app is easy to set up and use, and I've already integrated it with my home automation system.

Really satisfied
At 88 yrs old I’m a little slow with new tech but this worked great, easy to get online and I love dimming the lights

Great deal
I had a lot of problems setting it up but I don't think it was the items fault. I have multiple smart home items and the system can get confusing at times. Once I finally got it connected it has been working great. 50% off retail just can't be beat.

Simple to use
I took the hub out of package and in less than 5 minutes I had it connected to my lights and my google home! Super happy, and it was so simple , works great.
