John Wayne at his Cranky Best

A Treasure !
How delightful to return to the era of The Old West without being subjected to disgusting language and ignorant visuals ! The Duke at his " Hey Pilgrim " finest .Lovely Joanne Dru was no Katherine Hepburn - but she certainly rode sidesaddle in along dress more graciously than the latter . ( Can you picture Hepburn with a yellow ribbon in her hair ?!!! ) We knew it was historically inaccurate and could have cared less ! A fine and joyful example of films that were entertaining and could be enjoyed by the entire family .
