real stunner...for chipmunks
This is a pretty good pellet shooter. It has a metal barrel which is rifled for accuracy. I bought it to kill chipmunks. They're cute but they chew on the electrical extension cords on my patio. I believe this could start a house fire. I can hit them with the Vigilante. But the pellet does not penetrate their stripey hides. Not a drop of blood is shed. But it does stun them. They lay kicking after being shot for a minute or so. Then they pull themselves together and resume their chipmunk business. During that time of helplessness I can pick them up with a grabber and drop them in a bucket of water so they drown. I don't want to touch them because they have ticks which can carry Lyme disease. I look forward to using the Vigilante as a target shooter because it is accurate and does not poise a danger to my neighbors as a firearm might do.

May be okay if you have large hands
This gun has terrible ergonomics. I have average sized hands and the reach to the trigger is too great to make double action shooting comfortable or accurate. It is actually more comfortable to shoot with the grips removed. The cylinder rotates freely when the hammer is down and care must be taken not to disturb the cylinder so it does not rotate and cause a pellet to be skipped or an empty cylinder to be indexed. It has average accuracy for a pellet gun and It is probably a decent value for what I paid ($40), but it is not a pistol I find pleasant to shoot.

Good hand gun
Product handles well and is a good weight. Therer are two issues that prevent this gun from being excellent. The main issue is that the ammo disk is easily rotated between firings and results in gun firing on an empty cylinder the other is the trigger pull is a bit too high.

Very Accurate
Same pellet hole shooting at 21 meters. deadly accurate out to 75 meters give or take a few. I use Gamo rockets or heavy crosman domed for amazing stopping power and target acquisition. My only complaint is the cheapo grips ( made my own out of real wood grips) and the inadequate barrel lock. I added a shim made from a razer blade to take up the slack .. make for a tighter barrel lock up. For the low price what more could one expect! It is a fun shooter, great "first time" kids pistol

Very pleased
Very good value for the money. Use good pellets with it, and you will be very happy with the accuracy and power. Gets 60-70 shots per co2 cartridge. Use the Pell oil on the tips of the cartridge every time. It's only $2.50 and lasts forever. You can lube the gun with it too.

Great air gun
When I first took it out of the box ,put in the co2 cartridge ,loaded the clips and nothing,well this air gun is equipped with a safety ,if the safety is on it won't let air out ,figures that out ,and everything works well ,great product ..Crosman has been around a long time

Cheap backyard fun...
This thing is just plain fun! It took some fine tuning, but now it's very accurate. I have it sighted in at 25 feet. I use Crosman wadcutters because they are the most accurate out of all the pellets I've used. The grips are a bit large for someone with small hands, but they fit me just fine. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to have some cheap backyard fun.

Good pellet gun for price
Haven't had a problem using this gun. It was simple and easy to use didn't need to read the manuals. Shoots pretty good, accuracy is alright. I really like how you can shoot pellets great feature and how it comes with two clip.

Fun
Fun fun. Casual shooter. Seems fairly accurate to me. Looses power as cartridge wears down. But I assume all guns r like that. Rarely jams. Easily corrected with gun cleaning rod. Enjoy the extra mags. Allows you to keep on shooting.

As long as the inner barrel is good . Don't shoot any BBS out of it and pellents. Pellets only in any dual gun. BB s ruin ling in barrel.
Good accuracy ...last yrs if taken care of. Don't shoot crazy hundreds of rounds in it.
