Awesome product!
Having previously owned a Squeezebox radio, I was excited to add another to my home, especially the red one. It is easy to hook up to my network, and the sound is great. I have a program that lets me stream my CD collection to the Squeezebox, and I am able to play throughout the house, in any room that has one. So glad that these radios are back. Has awesome sound from such a small speaker. I would highly recommend. You can play any streaming service, as well as your local radio stations. Not to mention, you can program it to wake you up in the morning. I added a battery pack, so that if the power goes out, the alarm feature will still work. I own several models of Squeezebox, but the red one is the sharpest looking by far!

Geeks find these very easy to use!
Some marks on the case and no power supply as stated in the listing but otherwise it's perfectly functional. These are great music players if you have the SLIMP3/Logitech Media Server setup but I wouldn't recommend it if you don't have a music collection. Why Logitech abandoned these superb players is a mystery.

Great WiFi Radio
Great WiFi radio. If you are looking for one make sure you get a Logitech, Even though they no longer make them you can generally find good bargains on eBay. I have had other WiFi radios, but the Logitech ‘s Squeezebox is the BEST. I now have five and the last one purchased here is outstanding!!!!

Still works great
Been using one of these and a Boom since they came out. Picked up another to add to the collection that I use with the Logitech Media Server where all my content resides. No voice control or tracking which is what I want. Just great sound, streaming audio from internet radio stations and under my control.

Very impressed with the quality of this product 5 stars out of 5
This is my second Logitech Squeezebox Touch player, wanted one for the bedroom. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of finish (factory like new condition) it arrived in. Had to get a new P.S.U. as there was no UK adapter for the player P.S.U. which is easy to get hold of. Very impressed with the quality of this product 5 stars out of 5

Discontinued, not dead
Bad: Does not support DDNS with Synology Logitech Media Server (You must look up and input the IP address of your server unless you pay for a static IP.) No warranty whatsoever. Good: On the internet it does connect to your Logitech Media Server provided you enable port forwarding (open ports) on your router. Ports 3483 and 9002 specifically needs to be open to your NAS in order to connect. Decent speaker. Rechargeable battery. (Check if included.) Internet radio but no better than any cell phone.

Love my squeeze bix
Once you find all of the information that you need it is easy to set up The instructions with the bix were not very clear and the website that you need to sign into is not very user friendly But once you set the box up it is great to use . It locks into the wi fi and keeps to log on Other radios that I bought and returned were easier to set up but the streaming left a lot to be desired If you are looking for an internet radio this is the one to buy

Versatile—and lovable!
I wanted a radio where I could access progressive talk and news sources from anywhere in the world—a pretty basic function for this radio. I get a lot more on the radio function, too—all genres of music from anywhere to suit my mood at any time of day, for instance. It’s been a great companion during this CoVid self-quarantine. The Squeezebox does so much more than act as a radio; it has functions that I have never delved into. It’s also an attractive and compact little package. I have three of them, placed all over my house, and I have bought three for friends who have fallen in love with them, too. Today I am taking this latest one to an elderly gent in a care home who can’t manage too much on his own any more—he has difficulty with the phone and with his regular radio and can’t operate a TV. I have programmed in 6 stations he will enjoy (opera, classical music, politics) and labeled the buttons. All he has to do is push one button, and he will have whatever listening pleasure he desires!

one caveat to an otherwise good unit
I have had several Logitech Squeezeboxes. They are very nice internet radios, and seem to be of highest quality. But they all have had one unfortunate characteristic: they will, from time to time, stop producing sound. When this happens, one must unplug the unit, and replug it to reboot the mechanism. There are two principle downsides to this. First, it is annoying and happens all too often. For me, this happens on the average of once a week. Second, it prohibits the use of the rechargeable battery that is an option for this radio, as it cannot be reset until one goes in and unplugs or removes the battery. This is the radio's principal fault and, depending on how you look at it, could be a deal-breaker.
