Great sound
We did a raw recording live and I can't believe how exceptional the sound was. I have hooked up an extra 8 inputs so I can mic and record individual drums. Also love the built ins like the compressor and ect. There's so much to learn but they YouTube has a great tutorial to get through the learning curve. Nice product.

Great Interface Great Price
Couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Thank you. Up and recording right away. I use this 8XLR channel interface for my drum set. Still learning Studio One 3 but that’s my problem. Love the interface. Thanks again.

Easy to use both as a recording interface and mixer in live situation.
With a windows tablet you can fully control the mixer. I have a tablet on a mike stand which enables tweaking during performance if you don't have a dedicated sound man.

Great studio tool
Perfect for any small studio that needs to provide monitor mixes to artists while they are recording .VSL software is not supported by Presonus any longer but the it is still available for use from the Presonus website.

The best audio interfaces are the ones you can just forget are there.
The interface I was using previously was an old Audiobox USB, so the same driver set I had already installed worked for it. Same settings, no complicated setup. Works perfectly, low latency, nice sounding pres. Don't have to think about it, just use it

Presonus 1818VSL Now Obsolete
Except For The Phones Configuration Which Took Getting Use To, This Interface Is An Excellent Piece, Would Definitely Recommend It, Too Bad It Has Been Discontinued...
